High School (H2O Ministry)

Teachers: Youth Pastor Jason Wendlandt and Ashley Wendlandt

Jason was born and raised in Conway, MO. He was extremely active in his home church youth group growing up. He has worked for Mercy EMS for the past 17+ years as a Paramedic before feeling called to serve the Lord in a different fashion. Ashley was raised in Warsaw and Springfield, MO. Ashley works for the Dallas County School District. They were married in June of 2001, and they have 2 children, Brock (13), and Jaley (10). Jason is continuing his education at this time for his Associates of Science in Nursing through SBU.

Sunday Morning  9:30am – 10:30am

Age group- 5th-12th grades

This is your traditional Sunday School class. Class topics include stories/individuals from the bible and also every day issues that the students may be dealing with in middle or high school.

Wednesday Night  6:45pm – 8:30pm

Age group- 9th-12th grades

On Wednesday nights, we have a more relaxed atmosphere. After starting out with prayer and praise time, the junior high class joins us for a worship service. After the worship service, we separate the junior high back to their classroom, and we cover topics that high school students are faced with. The students are free to give suggestions about things that may be bothering them, or if they just have questions about a different topic, and we will go through and find what the bible has to say about those different areas. We expect our students to be mature about the topics, because some of the topics they are faced with are only for mature audiences. We will give them the Godly advice and reasoning behind the correct decisions to be made. We enjoy our fellowship time, fun activities, food and camaraderie, but most of all, we love spreading Him2Others at H2O Ministry. We would love to have you join us for any or all services.
